Kyudo the Art of Archery Tungsten Carbide Ring
Kyudo the Art of Archery Tungsten Carbide Ring
Kyūdō (弓道) is the Japanese martial art of archery. Kyūdō is based on kyūjutsu ("art of archery"), which originated with the samurai in feudal Japan. Kyūdō is practised by over a hundred thousand people worldwide. The bow used is called yumi. It has an asymmetrical shape and a length of more than 2.0 meters (6 ft 7 in), being held by the archer on the lower third of the bow during practice.
The ring displays a golden arrow over steel wire, symbolizing the perfect shot from the archer. The ring is 8mm wide.
This ring is made of Tungsten Carbide, a highly resistant alloy made of equal parts of Tungsten and Carbon. The alloy, twice as hard as steel, can only be polished and finished with abrasives of superior hardness such as cubic boron nitride and diamond powder, making it one of the most resistant rings you will ever have.
The ring has a comfort fit, and the exterior of the ring is coated in resin to protect the interior inlays.
