Hokkaido, the northernmost of Japan’s main islands, is known for its volcanoes, natural hot springs (onsen) and ski areas. Rugged Daisetsuzan National Park is home to steaming, volcanic Mount Asahi. Shikotsu-Tōya National Park contains caldera lakes, geothermal springs and a Mount Fuji look-alike, Mount Yōtei. Popular ski resorts include Rusutsu, Furano and Niseko.
This ring is made of Tungsten Carbide, a highly resistant alloy made of equal parts of Tungsten and Carbon. The alloy, twice as hard as steel, can only be polished and finished with abrasives of superior hardness such as cubic boron nitride and diamond powder, making it one of the most resistant rings you will ever have.
The inlay is made with genuine Mother of Pearl and meteorite steel, symbolizing the winter in the first snows in Hokkaido and the deep connection of the Japanese people with the sea. The exterior of the ring is coated in resin to protect the inlays.
