According to the legendary history of Kasuga Shrine, the Kami Takemikazuchi arrived in Nara on a white deer to guard the newly built capital of Heijō-kyō. The metal band on the ring is made of Tungsten Carbide, a highly resistant alloy made of equal parts of Tungsten and Carbon. Its exterior is lined with Ia matte gold plating. The alloy, twice as hard as steel, can only be polished and finished with abrasives of superior hardness such as cubic boron nitride and diamond powder, making it one of the most resistant rings you will ever have.
The ring is 8mm wide, with a rounded interior, known as comfort fit. The inlays are coated in resin to protect the antler material.
